Pressed Juice Cocktail: Blueberry Cheesecake

I love a good cocktail. And that's pretty evident by my clean cocktail series on Swooned twice a month! Here's the problem with most cocktails: there's too much of them and too much filler turning them into total calorie bombs. For one shot of vodka, you're looking at about 95 calories. Not too bad if you're planning on having a cocktail! It's about the same as a skim cafe latte. But when you add a soda mixer plus other liquors...yikes. That's why my goal with cocktails is to make them as fresh and flavor packed as possible using real ingredients...not junk. Because I'm choosing to use whole foods as a starting point, that means you're getting extra beauty food benefits..like with blueberries.

Today's cocktail is a little something I whipped up for Purée Juice in DC (Side note: they also sell balanced quinoa bowls and other healthy options! ). Their amazing team came and met me curb side in DC to drop off an array of beautiful (seriously) fresh pressed juices. They are the perfect thing to have with a small breakfast or lunch. The flavors are spot on! Which is why Purée asked if I would be interested in figuring out a way to put a spin on a cocktail!

I bring you the Blueberry Cheesecake Cocktail.
