I've admitted before that I love gummy snacks. I know, I'm awful. But I don't eat them because of the food dye and tons of sugar. Now that I've made my own fruit leather (100% dried fruit, no sugar!), I wanted to venture into clean eating gummies. For my clients who crave sweets like this, I was looking for a way better alternative.  I've had lots of requests for the recipe for the Instagram photo I posted a while ago of the mango orange snacks. Your wish is my command

I originally nabbed the idea to make gummies at home from this blog. While I hate, hate, hate the name of the blog (thinspiration much?), the concept is a good one. Why bother to buy your own gummies when you can make a healthier version with your own flavors?

Clean Eating Mango Orange Gummies

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 C frozen mango cubes
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 2 packets gelatin
  • sugar if desired ( I didn't add any)

Directions: Add the mango and orange to a small pot on the stove and cook until soft. Puree and add the gelatin. Stir. Pour into a pan and place in the fridge until the puree gels. Cut into desired shapes. Cookie cutters work well.

This is a super fast recipe and can easily be done with a variety of fruits! Have you made gummies at home?
